In the year 2010, the supervolcano in Yellowstone park erupts. All the technology, all the plans we had and all the time scientists put into preventing a disaster failed. The majority of human life ceased to exist on that day.
But the eruption did not cease with this. It also spread deadly toxins into the air, which mutated with another disease to create a deadly virus that turned one's blood to acid, burning them away from the inside.
However, only humans were susceptible to the virus. All other animals were immune. It was with this thought in mind that the few remaining scientists began to mix human and animal DNA together.
A couple hundred human-animal hybrids were left behind, set to be released on the first day of June, in the year 2068.
Of course, not every experiment went right. There are some who did not take well to the change of their DNA structure. These mutants are twisted and ugly, but strong and cruel. When the cases opened and these specimens were let free, they automatically recognized the two sides of a war that was yet to begin. The Mutants were shunned, and the Transers, the successful ones, claimed superiority.
Now a war is beginning between the two sides. The cruel and ruined souls have taken control of the forests, training hard for the battle they know is coming. The gifted ones are busy making battle forts and securing the inner part of the city. The rogues that wander the streets are fair game to either side. Generals are gathering thir armies, fights are breaking out, and tensions are high. These children are not quite human, but one human instict remains: Violence.
